Our citizenship is in heaven

There is a celestial city, where we will not need the sun, where there will be no more crying or pain, where we will not have any kind of worry, we will not be more aware of paying bills, of diseases, no! We will not have any of those stings, but we will dwell an eternity giving glory and honor to the sovereign God. Is there a better reward than this? So, I encourage you not to faint and wait in that citizenship that Christ has prepared us for an eternity.

This world every day that passes becomes more desirous of evil and we should not be imitators of them, since unlike them we have believed that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and this makes us special or more how special, we have been promised an inheritance and it is not any inheritance, it is a spiritual citizenship.

The Bible says:

20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Philippians 3:20-21

We wait in a Savior, and this is not a fairy tale or a comic where Batman saves the Gotham city, this is more than that, He is a real Savior and His name is Jesus, and the advantage of this Savior is that He does not save us just for a moment, it saves us forever for an eternity, and best of all is that He promises you a heavenly citizenship without you deserving it, why? Because this salvation and this promise is by grace.

If any of you is thirsty, here is Christ who offers water for eternal life, if any of you is hungry, here is Christ who sustains us with the manna that falls from heaven. If some of you are tired, calm, that Christ will make you rest. If any of you feels faint and is tired of this perishable world, have peace because Christ gives true peace and not as the world gives it.

Hallelujah! May these words resonate in our hearts and echo in eternity.

Do not forget that Christ has promised us a heavenly citizenship and that promise floods us every day.

...
We shall be like Him
The Lord has compassion on those who fear Him
