The Lord has compassion on those who fear Him

God never forgets His children, He has compassion on those who fear Him, He does justice for all of them. Nothing is impossible for God and His mercy every day sustains us, helps us and restores our lives.

As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;

Psalm 103:13

All those who fear the Lord are blessed, every day we must be confident in Him regardless of the difficulties we are experiencing, but it is good to remember that God has in His hands each of our needs.

God looks at each of the works we do with our children and more when parents who have compassion on their children, so God also has comassion for parents who do good deeds with their children.

But one of the practices that we must take into account is love, first of all, everyone who has love can do good works even those who did not do good, and after having known the love of Christ begins to practice good.

for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.

Psalm 103:14

Sometimes we say that God has forgotten us and that God does not know our conditions, but it is not so, because He knows everything we need, He is God and knows everything that is around us.

You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.

Psalm 139:2

The psalmist David was very clear that God knew everything about Him and not only about Him, but about the whole world, He knew their rise and their awakening. Recall that God is watching everyone and that He looks at the whole world from the heavens.

When we meditate on these words, we realize that the care of God is not something superficial or limited, but a deep and eternal manifestation of His love. His compassion is not occasional; it is constant and renewed each morning. Even when we feel discouraged or forgotten, God is working behind the scenes, guiding our steps and strengthening our faith. His mercy does not depend on our emotions or circumstances but on His perfect and unchanging character.

There are moments when the pressures of life make us think that we are alone, but the Scriptures remind us repeatedly that the eyes of the Lord are upon His children. This should fill our hearts with hope, because if God sees us, then He also sustains us. No trial is too great, no tear is unnoticed, and no burden is ignored. God’s compassion extends to every area of our lives, especially to those that no one else can see.

Just as a loving father is moved by the needs of his children, God is moved by ours. He knows our limitations, our weaknesses, and even the silent battles that we cannot explain to others. Since He remembers that we are dust, He deals with us with patience, tenderness, and understanding. His love lifts us when we fall and restores us when our strength runs out.

Moreover, when the psalmist declares that God knows our sitting down and our rising up, he is showing us that God’s knowledge about us is complete. He knows our thoughts, our concerns, and the intentions of our hearts. Nothing escapes His divine attention. This truth should not frighten us; rather, it should give us peace, because if God knows everything, then He is fully capable of helping us in everything.

Therefore, let us walk each day with confidence in the Lord, trusting that His compassion surrounds us like a protective shield. Let us rest in the assurance that God is present, attentive, and willing to act in favor of His people. He who sustains the universe is the same who sustains your life, and nothing you face is beyond the reach of His mighty hand.

Our citizenship is in heaven
Look to the Lord and His strength

  1. THE LORD HAS COMPASSION ON THOSE WHO FEAR HIM
    As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; Psalm 103:130
    How marvellous is the fear of the Lord! It’s good and a right thing too. If somebody has got power from heaven to love the Lord God, then he fears Him, wishes to please Him, considers how great He is, how much He loves his children (but those he loves he also punishes so that they are corrected).
    Those people love and fear their heavenly Father. It means that their names are written in the book of life, so we must be joyful. They are of our family, the family of God.
    Our Father who is in Heaven looks over us and he gives us daily bread and other needs, forgives our debts, our sins…
    The Lord knows that we are dust and has compassion on us. He heals our body and comforts our Soul, he guides our life for his name’s sake.
    May we all glorify Him and be grateful to Him.
    He is our Lord God. Rejoice!
