It is typical to hear people say: “I have my whole life listening to the same story”. However, let us not judge them, since, it is normal for them to say that, in the sense that they are not knowledgeable of the Word as we are. But none of this should diminish our sense of preaching that Christ is coming soon, because we must know that He is coming.
The Bible says:
15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
1 Tessalonians 4:15-17
Dear brothers, that gentle Lamb who offered Himself as a sacrifice for our sins, who suffered the most severe pain on the cross, that Christ will one day come on the clouds to take His holy church, and no one will hurt Him anymore, but greats and smalls will have to bow before Him, all the kings of the earth will tremble before the light of His brightness and all the nations will mourn with great lament.
