Where is your God?

In the life we are presented with situations in which the unbelievers ask us: Where is your God ?. The Lord is around us, He is the one who takes care of all mankind, but there are moments where we become ignorant, and we think that He is not near to us.

If God was not around us, then the enemy would destroy us, but it is not so because God warns us of all the evil that wants to attack us. He is always attentive to His creation. God looks at everything that exists from the heavens.

I say to God my Rock,
“Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I go about mourning,
oppressed by the enemy?”

Psalm 42:9

There are moments that we must take into account that God is not far from us, the writer of this psalm at one moment felt dejected and heartbroken, but he said some words saying that He is his God and his rock, giving understand that the Lord cared for and strengthened him.

My bones suffer mortal agony
as my foes taunt me,
saying to me all day long,
“Where is your God?”

Psalm 42:10

It must be said that this man was persecuted by his adversaries, who gave false hope by saying: Where is your God? But he is always trusting in God.

No matter how much his adversaries tell him “where is your God?” he did not recoil from these words that were thrown at him, God likes the people who think, as well as this man, who, although he had people attacking him, he did not back down, but kept going forward.

Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and

When we go through moments of anguish or confusion, it is normal that our soul feels downcast, just as the psalmist described. Yet Scripture teaches us that the response to discouragement is not to focus on the voices around us, but to lift our eyes to God. The psalmist speaks to his own soul, reminding himself that hope is not found in circumstances, but in the Lord who sustains all things. This internal dialogue shows us that faith is not only expressed outwardly but also cultivated inwardly, confronting doubt with the truth of who God is.

We all face seasons where the enemy tries to weaken our confidence through fear, exhaustion, or the words of others. Sometimes the questions that people ask—such as “Where is your God now?”—are the same questions that attempt to rise in our own minds. However, believers know that God is not absent; He is a present help in trouble, He watches our steps, and He defends us even when we do not notice it. Like the psalmist, we must decide to trust God even when everything seems uncertain.

In these moments, praise becomes a powerful weapon. The psalmist says: “For I will yet praise Him,” indicating that praise is not only a response to victory but also a declaration of faith in the middle of adversity. Praising God when everything looks dark is a way of proclaiming that His light is greater than any shadow that threatens us. It is also a reminder to our hearts that God has already been faithful in the past and will continue to be faithful today and tomorrow.

When we put our hope in the Lord, He renews our strength. He gives clarity to our minds and peace to our hearts. He shows us that no attack from the enemy is stronger than His protection, and no word spoken against us has more weight than His promises. Even if people mock or question our faith, God remains firm and continues to sustain us with His powerful hand. The psalmist’s experience teaches us that trust in God is not built in the absence of trials, but in the midst of them.

Therefore, when someone asks you, “Where is your God?” you can answer with confidence: He is with me. He is the One who lifts me when I fall, the One who strengthens me when I am weak, the One who sees my tears and hears my prayers. He is the God who never abandons His children and who always arrives at the perfect moment. Let us learn from the psalmist to speak to our own soul and remind it of this powerful truth: hope placed in God is never wasted.

May we always remember that even when life becomes difficult, God is near. He is our rock, our refuge, our salvation. And just like the psalmist, we will also be able to say, with conviction and joy, “I will yet praise Him,” because the Lord is faithful and His love endures forever.

A sun of justice for those who fear in His name
The Lord sends poverty and wealth

Our God knows everything we are passing. Like a earthly father looks after his children whom he loves, and sometimes he is not able to help them, much more our Heveanly Father who is in heavens can know perfectly both the less and the more, outside and inside our body an soul. Our Lord God wants the better things for us in our stay here in the earth and he longs and he looks for our soul our confort and salvation. The Lord Jesus Crist is the guarantee of all blessings we are receiving.
Where is my God? He is everywhere, our Father is in the Heaven, there is not room wchich sustain to him, he test me and leave work the enemy against me, as did with Job, but he never will leave us nor permit that the Devil touch our soul.
We must allways trust in Him,
Then may love him, He loves us the first. Tank you, Oh Lord God of my life.
