Prayer is the one that will help us every day to be in full communion with the Lord, it is also the one that helps us keep our faith strengthened in the Lord. When we go before God and humble ourselves before Him, He hears us.
The man who neglects himself in prayer is ready to let his spiritual life fall and everything to go wrong, but he who keeps the prayer will be good all the time, will be strengthened and his spiritual life will be better every day.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Ephesians 6:18
It is good that we persevere in prayer, but every day we must ask the Lord to help us in prayer and to help our brothers to remain in faith and prayer.
The strength of the spirit is in prayer in the Lord, the more we pray, the better we will be because prayer encourages the downhearted spirit, sustains it, helps it in difficult times, makes it understand what is wrong before God.
Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,
Ephesians 6:19
The apostle Paul wrote this letter giving to understand what he wanted to teach the people who had to know the mystery of the gospel, and to help those who did not understand anything about that great truth.
for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
Ephesians 6:20
This is the best example that we should give as Servants of the Lord, just as this man of God named Paul, a man who wherever he went taught what the Word of God is, so that everyone who did not know the God’s existence could know it.
Prayer is not simply a religious discipline or a spiritual habit; it is the lifeline of the believer. Through prayer, the soul breathes, the spirit strengthens, and faith grows. When we pray, we recognize our dependence on God, we acknowledge His sovereignty, and we place our burdens upon the One who has the power to sustain us. Prayer is the bridge between our weakness and God’s strength, between our confusion and His wisdom, between our needs and His abundance.
When a person neglects prayer, his spiritual life begins to wither slowly. The heart becomes vulnerable to discouragement, temptation, and spiritual laziness. Just as the body weakens without food, the spirit weakens without prayer. On the contrary, the believer who perseveres in prayer finds renewal, clarity, and strength. Prayer aligns our heart with God’s will, calms anxiety, and anchors us in truth.
Paul’s words in Ephesians 6:18 remind us that prayer is not to be occasional or limited to moments of crisis. We are called to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions,” meaning that prayer should accompany every circumstance—joy, sorrow, triumph, and trial. There are prayers of gratitude, prayers of repentance, prayers of intercession, prayers of petition, and prayers of worship. In every season, prayer keeps us spiritually awake and sensitive to the voice of God.
Notice that Paul also insists on praying for “all the Lord’s people.” Prayer is not only personal; it is communal. The Christian life is not lived in isolation. Our brothers and sisters face battles we may not see. They carry burdens we do not always know. When we intercede for them, we become instruments of God’s grace and support. This mutual intercession strengthens the entire body of Christ.
Paul then asks the church to pray for him—a humble yet powerful request. Even though he was an apostle, used mightily by God, he recognized his need for divine help. He did not rely on his intelligence, his strategies, or his experience. He needed God to give him words, boldness, and clarity to preach the gospel fearlessly. This teaches us that no matter how mature or gifted a believer is, prayer remains essential.
Paul describes himself as “an ambassador in chains,” which shows his unwavering devotion to Christ. Even in prison, even in suffering, even in uncertainty, his greatest concern was to proclaim the gospel faithfully. What an example for us! Today, many believers lose courage for far smaller difficulties, yet Paul asked not for deliverance from prison but for boldness to fulfill his mission.
This is the heart of a true servant: to honor Christ above all, to preach His Word regardless of circumstances, and to rely entirely on the power of God through prayer. As believers, we are called to imitate this same posture—praying always, strengthening ourselves in the Lord, interceding for one another, and seeking boldness to live out our faith.
Let us, therefore, persevere in prayer. Let us seek God daily, humbly, and sincerely. Let us maintain a spirit that is sensitive to His voice, strengthened by His presence, and guided by His will. In prayer we find refuge, direction, and transformation. The more we pray, the more we become like Christ. And in this world of spiritual battles, prayer remains our greatest weapon, our deepest comfort, and our strongest foundation.

Amen Lord always help me in prayer and fill me with your Holy Spirit amen.
I am reading the Bible an these texts everyday. It has been teaching me if I obey a god commandments god will restaure our lifes fully and will do us prosper! But when I look at arround me I can see a lot of evil people in prosperity and righteous people in bad situations. Are the god promises real? The world is so terrible and the people who had the power here step over the rightness and I cannot see a lot of righteous people in peace!
Amen
Lets remember everyone in prayer. Amen
It’s necessary to pray everyday, pray allways, it does not matter the place or the people that is near, in mind or in words. To pray is good for our souls, the heavenly Father hear us and he likes we pray by faith.
We must be humbles and accepting what may be the Lord’s will in our trouble. He loves an humiliated spirit. My soul is waiting in the Lord and his promises.
Amen! Gloire à dieu
