Faith comes from hearing the message

What is the faith? The Bible tells us too much about faith, and although in certain places it is not mentioned, we see faith from Genesis to Revelation, men who believed in God regardless of the situation they were facing. I ask again: What is faith? The Bible says that it is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

The Bible also says:

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: β€œHow beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, β€œLord, who has believed our message?”

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Romans 10:14-17

We have believed in the announcement of the powerful gospel of our beloved and Lord Jesus Christ, and in a world like this, that every day is in decline, we must persevere and arm ourselves with this faith, that faith that men like Abraham, Moses, apostles and prophets had, having a firm hope in what they had believed. Are we believing firmly in the promises of God? Oh dear brother, the promises of God are reliable, when He says He will do something He does it because He does it and we must have our eyes on the target, in Christ Jesus.

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message.” What have we heard? We have listened to the Word of God and hearing it has produced faith in us, and we have believed this announcement, that Christ came, dwelt as a man being God, died crucified on a cross and rose from the dead on the third day, and we continue believing in this and filling ourselves with faith every day more.

Let’s continue believing!
