The Spirit helps us in our weakness

We human beings are full of endless weaknesses, because that is the nature that we have inherited from Adam, but, the fact that we are under weaknesses and imperfections is not something for that we should faint, on the contrary, the Spirit of God helps us in those weaknesses and in those trials that we sometimes think we will never get over.

If you are a weak Christian, that is good, that weakness brings us closer to God because we realize that we need Him and that our hope is not in ourselves but in Him. I remember a few years ago when a certain person said while preaching: “This place is not for the weak, it is for the strong “. At that time I was thinking about several passages of the Bible and I realized that God is not really looking for strong people, He is looking for weak people, and in the Bible we find several examples: Elijah fled from Jezebel (1 Kings 19), Job wished he had not been born (Job 3), Peter denied Jesus three times (Matthew 26), among others. The truth is that we are also subject to these weaknesses, but like them, God sustains us in the midst of so many trials.

The Bible says:

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Romans 8:26-27

Dear brothers, this must be our hope and our joy, that in the midst of all the things that can happen to us we serve a powerful God who gives us His help, who never abandons us, who renews our strength like those of the buffalo, who makes us fly as high as the eagle. The apostle Paul did know that he was an expert in knowing this God who helps the weak.

  5. It doesn’t matter how many times people read the bible and scriptures you always get a new meaning to your beliefs yes I am very weak yes I am lost but with God all things are possible
