Who do we trust? Every person in this world relies on something or someone, and in one way or another we all place our confidence in a specific hope, even if in the end we fail or emerge victorious. A great example of misplaced trust is the story of the Titanic. Its creator trusted so much in his gigantic ship that he dared to say: “Not even God can destroy it.” This arrogant declaration revealed how fragile human confidence can be, because to his surprise, that confidence was shattered in one tragic night. So I return to the question once more: On whom is our hope truly placed? Will we trust in the mighty chariots of Egypt or in the Lord who reigns forever? Will we trust in our own abilities, our resources, our intelligence, or will we lift our eyes and place all our trust in the living God?
Throughout the history of mankind, many individuals have placed their trust in politicians, in powerful rulers, in influential personalities, in athletes, in friends, and even in romantic partners. But over and over again, they have been betrayed, disappointed, and left wounded by the failures of human beings. For some, that broken confidence has pushed them into deep sadness, discouragement, and even depression. Perhaps you who are reading this article have experienced something similar. Maybe at some point in life you have reached a moment where you did not know what to do, who to trust, or where to turn for help.
However, the Bible tells us about One who never fails—God Himself. He is the only One in whom we can place our trust without fear of disappointment or betrayal. When we place our confidence in Him, our hope does not collapse, because God does not lie, nor does He break His promises. He is the Rock that does not move, the refuge that does not crumble, the Father who never abandons His children.
The psalmist David knew well what it meant to trust in God when he declared:
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call!Psalm 20:7-9
David is saying that many people depend on earthly things, on human strength, on material security, on visible power. But these things always fail. They may seem strong for a moment, but they eventually collapse. Yet those of us who have placed our trust in God—even when we stumble, even when we fall in the middle of the road—are renewed by His strength. The Lord lifts us up as the eagle rises high above the storm. He renews our spirit, restores our hope, and refreshes our soul with living water even in the driest desert.
Our afflictions, though painful, are not enough to destroy us. The turbulent waves of life cannot drown us. The trials that come against us are not strong enough to break us. The arrows of the enemy lose their power before reaching us, and the sharpest sword cannot cut the destiny that God Himself has written for us. Why? Because our trust, our hope, our strength, and our very lives are entrusted to a powerful, faithful, and benevolent God who fights for us.
Oh dear friend, dear and beloved reader, listen carefully: our God saves those who trust in Him. Our God listens to the cry of the afflicted, He sees the tears shed in private, He understands the pain hidden in the heart. He never abandons His children. In our most difficult hour—when we believe we cannot continue, when strength is gone, when darkness surrounds us—He remains present, sustaining us, comforting us, and walking beside us.
Even though we cannot see Him with our physical eyes, He is there. He protects us with His mighty hand, He surrounds us with His love, He holds us close when fear rises, and He whispers to our soul: “Do not fear, I am with you.” This is why we trust Him. This is why we can rest in His promises. And this is why our hope will never be put to shame.

Happiness is my daily basis because of whom I trust. When I fall he is always on my side to rise me up with the new strength, every time when I need him he is on my side, when I call him he listen to me, when I ask he answers me. What a great FATHER we have. Amen!!!!!!!!!
He is indeed my Lord and saviour but you need to ask him to be that. To resive him in your heart ask him to forgive you for wanting to live a life without him. Jesus Christ is the answer to all our problems because he had overcome the world with him we can do the same. We exchange or self righteousness for his. A good deal
