Whatever we ask we receive from Him

Our heavenly father is good, and Jesus Christ gives us a great example of this at the moment He talks about that no father that his son asks for something gives him a stone, how much more our heavenly Father. Dear friends, we serve a good God, a God who brings down the rain on the good and the bad, who makes the earth give its fruit on everybody, our God does not look at our condition to bless us, I mean, we do not have to be good to receive the blessing of God, because in this way no one would be blessed in this world, since there is only one good and is our beloved Creator.

Many passages of the Bible tell us that we have to approach God with confidence and if we ask under His will, He will give us what we want. The Bible says that everything we ask will be given to us, but we have to take care to ask for it badly, because James tells the church that they asked for it and did not receive it because they asked for it badly. This is why it is good that we know what God’s will is, which is perfect and good.

John said in his first letter:

21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God

22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.

23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

1 John 3:21-23

This confidence that we have in God can not be superficial, we have to persevere in His commandments, in the grace that has been given to us, to do the things that are pleasing in front of Him, to love our neighbor, and in this way God answers our petitions, because everyone who walks in His commandments, who lives a life consecrated to God, asks at His will.

Another thing that we must keep in mind is to keep that spark of belief in Jesus Christ, to believe with all our heart that God has raised Him from the deads and that one day he comes for His beloved church and we will be raised together with Him.

Abide in Him
I love you Lord
