I love you Lord

The trust that those men of the old testament felt toward God fills us with great inspiration. Despite all the battles they had to fight and all the enemies they used to have, they kept their trust in God like a burning flame that never went out, and it’s good that we know about these men, their history, their writings in the Bible, so that we too can come to have full confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let’s see, the psalmist said:

1 I love you, Lord, my strength.

2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

3 I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I have been saved from my enemies.

Psalm 18:1-3

These men of God learned to draw strength from where there was none, but they did this because in the deep of their hearts, they had an indestructible confidence. That is why the Bible says that those who trust in God are like Mount Zion that does not move but remains forever. This is the true confidence of a man and a woman of God, who know how to say that the Lord is their strength even in the most difficult moment of their short lives.

Those of us who trust in God know that in the storm God is our refuge, that before the arrows of life the Lord is our shield.

Trust in God with all our heart, let us put our hearts in His precious hands, because, as one day I said at the time that I had to get on a plane: “If God holds the universe, how much more will a piece of steel in the sky hold? ” Glory to God!

The Lord is my helper; I will not fear
