The mercy of God

When we speak of God’s mercy, we are referring to God’s compassion for us and helping us to understand that He is the only helper of our lives.

In this world we meet different types of people who do not pity others, nor have mercy, but there is one who does mercy and pities us and that is Lord God of armies who helps us and sustains us at all times.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

Ephesians 2:4

It is a very good thing to read this Biblical verse, where tells us that the owner of mercy is called God, and that He is rich in mercy, and that there is no one else like that.

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit

Titus 3:5

Let us be clear that His mercy is not for our works of justice, but because God has been pleased to have mercy on us, and that no one can believe that by a work that he done God will have mercy, but that it will depend on His sovereign will.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:3

His mercy is so great that in 1 Peter we can see how this man speaks, and he says that His mercy is a living hope that makes us be born again, and makes us understand all the things that happen and that are around us.

It is good that, if God has mercy on us, we also do the same with others, do not the same as those who have no compassion for the others. It is good that if you are not practicing this you start doing it without show favoritism.

...
A living hope
Let us not become weary in doing good
