How good when we walk as light in the midst of darkness, that is, enlightening those who are in darkness, people whose lives are on a tightrope.
We as children of the Almighty must set an example in every place, wherever we find ourselves the Lord will be our good shepherd and He will continue to enlighten us with His light. The world today is submerged in confusion, in moral darkness, in hopelessness, and in a deep spiritual blindness. Many walk without direction, without knowing what to believe, or whom to follow. And in the midst of all this atmosphere, God has placed His children to shine as lights, to reflect His character, and to represent His truth before a world that desperately needs it. This task is not optional; it is a divine calling.
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
Ephesians 5:1
Here He is clearly urging us to be imitators of our heavenly Father as beloved children that we are, in the same way that Jesus walked on this earth setting an example, He being the God and Creator of all things. To imitate God is a high calling, and it implies striving for holiness, purity, mercy, compassion, humility, and love. We imitate Him when we forgive, when we speak truthfully, when we help the oppressed, when we respond with kindness instead of anger, and when we show Christ in all our actions.
We as believers must keep in mind that we have many people around us who always live with the accusing finger and that is why we must always be firm in the Lord. Many watch us, not always with good intentions, but sometimes waiting for our mistakes. But even when others judge, criticize, or misunderstand us, we are called to stand firm, because our identity is not determined by human judgment, but by the One who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Ephesians 5:2
The truth is that many of the people around us expect us to step on the wrong foot to begin to stand trial against us, but we who have the love of Christ must move forward no matter what comes. The walk of love requires sacrifice, patience, forgiveness, and perseverance. Christ loved us not when we were perfect, but when we were weak, sinful, and far from Him. In the same way, walking in love means loving even when love is not returned, doing good even when others do not value it, and responding with grace even when faced with hostility.
We have a God who is love, remember that the Lord is powerful and majestic. Let’s not look at those who point us, because someday they will reconsider, and they will understand that only God’s love covers a multitude of sins. We do not walk to please men, nor to gain applause; we walk to honor God. If we fix our eyes on criticism, we will fall. If we fix our eyes on Christ, we will stand firm.
Now, we who are in the ways of the Lord, set an example to others, so that they may enter the path of salvation, because if we give an example of the light that is Christ, then they will say “God is real”. You will ask “why would they say this?” Well, because they saw that there is a people that wherever they go represents Christ as their Lord.
Every word we speak, every decision we make, every reaction we show becomes a testimony for those who observe us. Many will never read the Bible, but they will read our lives. They will form an idea about God based on how His children behave. This is why walking in the light is not a small matter—it is a responsibility that reflects the very heart of God to the world.
When we act with integrity, when we refuse to participate in gossip, when we do what is right even when nobody is watching, when we forgive those who offend us, and when we show kindness to the undeserving, people see a different kind of life—a life that cannot be explained naturally. That is when they realize that God is real, that His power transforms, and that His light shines even in the deepest darkness.
So let us walk as children of light. Let our lives illuminate homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and every place God places us. For we do not shine by our own strength—Christ shines through us.

We must live according to our faith, our convictions, seeking for the name of our Lord to be glorified.
Our God deserves all honor and glory because he has shown his love towards this world, and especially towards his children, who have been blessed in a wonderful way.
May the Lord God be blessed and honoured for all eternity.
The apostle Paul encourages us to be faithful people of God saying:
“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;” Ephesians 5:1
That is the best evidence of our faith: when we try to be good people among other people so that nobody can curse God’s name for our cause
AMEN
