Always joyful in the Lord

The pain can be so bitter that it takes away the joy of the Lord in our lives and we can not allow this. Of course, there will be moments that this will get out of our hands, since God often allows us to go through extremely difficult processes and this in order to mature our faith in Him. In these moments of the Christian life there is nothing like looking back , back, abandon, etc. All we have to do is enjoy ourselves in the Lord and have the utmost confidence in Him.

The apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians:

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Philippians 4:4

A preacher said: “Our first days in Christianity seem to be like a honeymoon, but after a while the Lord goes away a little so that we realize that without Him we are nothing.” Of course, this is true, because when we are born again we feel a new atmosphere in our lives, a joy that we have never felt and all this is so beautiful, but when the reality of what it is to suffer for the gospel comes, we give ourselves realize how difficult this path is and this is usually painful.

Let’s see, we must know something, who writes is the apostle Paul. Let’s write a little about Paul: The book of Acts tells us who Paul was in the past, a persecutor of the church of Christ, or rather, the greatest persecutor of the church. After this Paul knew very well what it is to bear the reproach for the sake of Christ, which is narrated in 2 Corinthians 11 of verse 16 onwards.

Besides this, did you know that Paul wrote this to the Philippians from a prison? That is, a man who is imprisoned, perhaps without eating, perhaps with cold, overwhelmed by all the difficulties he has had to go through, perhaps without seeing any friend or relative who will visit him, passing more difficult tests than all the others believers who wrote to him, since his life was in danger, simply says: “Rejoice in the Lord always.” Again I say: “Rejoice!”

Hallelujah for this great declaration of the apostle! In the same way, let nothing take away the joy of the Lord, regardless of the difficult moments, let us rejoice always in the Lord.

    1. The pains we feel in the beginning, . .. the heart that we seam not to possess . . . After many days of fasting and seeking the Lord . We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony and do not love our lives to death. Jesus would have us wait for him. Jesus has taught us to resist the devil and he will flee. Only God has a plan to uplift and uphold the outcast. He will never abandon those who he loved from eternity.
