Light in the midst of darkness

When we speak of darkness, we are referring that light in the midst of darkness shines. The Bible says that in the beginning of creation, that darkness covered the whole earth.

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Genesis 1:1-5

Here we see that the earth was covered by darkness, and if the earth was covered by darkness it was because nothing was seen. Everything was dark.

When we talk about light we find a verse where Jesus talks about being the light of the world. It is not that you will be in a darkness and will turn on a bulb to have light, rather you as a follower of Christ will set an example to all those who walk in darkness.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:16

Jesus was referring to this as saying that we should be the light of the world, and wherever we go be light, so that others can see our good work and God be glorified in everything.

The world is always attentive to us giving a false footstep to point us and accuse us, saying: “There are the children of God making mistakes, failing to God.”

These people who judge you do not enter the Path or seek God, but it is good that those of us who that are on the path set an example to those who are not in it, so that God will forgive them and save them from all the evil of this world, That’s why it’s good for people who are out of the way to reconsider because salvation is individual, there is only one who can save you and that is called Jesus Christ the giver of life:

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
