There are many words, many books, many texts, which cause us great inspiration when we read them, but the Bible, unlike the millions of books that have been written throughout the entire existence of humanity, is the only one that has words of eternal life. It is the only book that can transform the lives of thousands of people, and that can make you tremble and feel that you need to change urgently.
In case you did not know, the Bible has been translated 2454 languages, which means that it is the most translated book in the whole world, and not only that, but it is the best seller. Do not forget that this has been a book that men have wanted to disappear through big part of history, however, they have not been able to, and the question is: Why? Because it is the word of eternal life. The attempts to erase it have been vain, since the eternal can never be eliminated.
In the Bible we will find a very strong message from Jesus, and that is why in chapter 6 of the book of John we see that many of the disciples after having heard some discourses of Jesus said: “This word is hard; who can hear it? ” (John 6:60) However, even though these words are harsh, there was one of His disciples who could understand the eternity found in these words, and for this He says:

The only word of life
=================
What would be of us if we had not known the Bible?
The Bible is very important in our lives. It gives us the knowledge we need to know God, and to know the “only word of life.”
In fact, the Bible contains not only one word but many words, which teach us about His Will, the will of God. They are “the words of eternal life”, as Peter said, speaking to Jesus:
“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
But, more specifically, what does the Minister say, and what does he mean by “the only Word of life”?
The term “word”, in greek or aramaic language also means “verb” (the verb of God). The gospel of John (1:1) tells us:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
And in John 1:11-12 we read:
“He came to his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”
So the “only Word of Life” is the only beloved Son of God: Jesus Christ. Indeed, it’s no one else but the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself up for all who believe in Him, in his name.
Now, the question is: how do we respond to that “Word”? Jesus said to his disciples:
“You do not want to leave too, do you?”
On that occasion, the disciples answered Jesus:
“Lord, to whom shall we go?”
(John 6:67-68)
Similarly, all God’s people—all of us that have been saved by Him and became adopted children of God—need to respond to His question:
“You do not want to leave too, do you?”
And we also, people of God, blessed by Jesus, join our voices to Simon Peter’s, and answer Him:
“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
At the end of my words today, I say also with the Minister of this page:
“Dear reader, we must always keep this in mind: The Bible is the only text that possesses words of eternal life.”
The only eternal Word of life is Jesus, the beloved Son of God.
So let’s go to Him: he has Words of eternal Life
