Who is God? He is an existing being, superior to men and angels. He is that incomparable, eternal, self-existent One, full of absolute power, governor of the entire universe and of the heavens of the heavens. He is the ultimate expression of wisdom, justice, majesty, power, goodness, and holiness. What else can we say about God? We could fill countless pages describing how powerful, glorious, fearsome, loving, and merciful our Creator is, and still we would never reach the fullness of who He truly is.
We never finish knowing God. His person is infinite, and our understanding is small and limited. This is why the apostle Paul says: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” (1 Corinthians 13:12). The Bible contains thousands of words, verses, chapters, and books—an entire divine revelation preserved for us—and even with this marvelous gift, we still see dimly. We grasp only a fraction of the majesty of who God is.
Throughout Scripture we have read countless mighty works of God. We see seas opening, fire descending from heaven, the dead rising, storms stilled, nations shaken, stars called by name, and worlds created by His command. These narratives astonish us, and yet they represent only a glimpse—a small reflection—of the fullness of God’s power. His greatness is far beyond anything the human mind can contain.
There is a verse in the Old Testament that expresses this truth beautifully: “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded!” (1 Kings 8:27). Consider the magnitude of that statement. The heavens of the heavens—the immeasurable realms beyond what human eyes can see or comprehend—cannot contain God. He transcends all dimensions, all boundaries, all physical reality. The universe itself is small in comparison to His infinite being.
This is why the Scriptures describe heaven as His throne and the earth as His footstool (Matthew 5:34–35). These images reveal the sovereignty of God, His absolute dominion over everything that exists. Nothing is too great for Him. Nothing escapes His authority. Nothing challenges His rule.
Our God is great! We could live eternity upon eternity, and even then we would not fully discover the majesty of His person. His wisdom is unsearchable, His judgments perfect, His power limitless. Do you realize who we serve? We do not serve a myth, a legend, or a human hero. We do not serve angels or created beings. We serve the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of heaven, the One who sits enthroned forever and whose kingdom shall have no end.
To have even the smallest glimpse of who God is should humble us and fill us with worship. Everything we understand about His attributes—His love, His holiness, His mercy, His justice—is already overwhelming, and yet it is only a tiny drop compared to the ocean of His true essence. The fact that God reveals Himself to us through His Word is an immense privilege. The fact that He allows us to know Him, love Him, and walk with Him is an indescribable honor.
Throughout life, we grow in the knowledge of God. Every trial teaches us something new about His faithfulness. Every blessing reveals His generosity. Every answered prayer shows His care. Every moment of discipline displays His holiness. Every page of Scripture opens another window into His character. But even all of these experiences together cannot exhaust who He is. God is inexhaustible, infinite, and perfect in all His ways.
Finally, the psalmist said:
“Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite.”Psalm 147:5
May these words lead us to adore, worship, and trust the God who is greater than all creation and greater than anything we can imagine.

God is so awesome in strength and power. When I think about the goodness of Jesus and all he done I cannot help but bless him. He is so loving, forgiving, caring, I cannot begin to understand his love toward me so when I have unfaithful by not giving him the praise due to him he is still faithful. I love him so much I do not want to do anything to him by the way I live.
Amen! Amen! Amen! All we have to do my friend, is to fill our blank while we’re still having the opportunity to do so! Remember Jesus Christ went to the cross for me and you, so now we have to do our part for our brothers and sisters, just a little daily prayer for will help them find their ways to him!
The immensity of God’s power
========================
God is immeasurable and at no place can we locate Him. He has shown us the immensity of he power he has—which he displayed when he formed the universe, and that, even today, he spreads throughout his creation. God’s might cannot be accurately valued by people, because it escapes our ability00pĺ to determine it.
“Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite.”
Psalm 147:5
If analyzed all the things he has created, surely we would see his power and majesty. But we will never be able to appreciate it in its true value and dimensions.
None of us, people of the dust, has ever seen God. No human being can determine the place where He is. We are taught he is everywhere and nothing can contain God, as king Solomon said.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.” (Psalm 19:1)
We are aamazed when we gaze at the firmament, full of stars; and through a telescope we could see planets or galaxies; or we could gaze at mountains, seas or oceans. But we cannot determine his power. However, we praise God for his goodness and his power.
May his name be glorified
AMEN
