Suffering is something very terrible that the human being experiences in his short life, but I think it is even more terrible for those who are struggling without God.
There is a story of a Christian couple who had a daughter named Bristol. This girl was born with strong health complications and because of this, that couple had to dedicate one hundred percent of their time in the health of their daughter, and of course, not only time, they also had to spend a lot of money.
Imagine yourself, this couple, of course, shed countless tears in the presence of the Lord, their hearts must have been totally broken. See the fruit of your life suffer, writhing, cry for so much pain, this must break the heart of every human being. And these parents went through exactly this cruel pain.
Can you already imagine the great pain that this couple went through? They shed tears until they could not, however, you know what? Even though that girl died, God always knows why he allows things, but what you should know is that God saw the suffering of those parents, God was not isolated in a corner. God is also aware of our tears and sufferings, and I assure you that He has counted each one of our tears.
The Bible says:
I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.
Psalm 6:6
Yes, we also feel tired of crying for some situations in life and this is not easy. The psalmist felt that way too. And do not want to imagine yourself for all the sufferings that many servants of God have had to endure. But all of them always had something in common: “They trusted fully in God.” And this is what remains for us, to fully believe that God is watching us every time we cry and that his help comes at its time.
The Psalmist tells us something that should relieve us if we are going through times like these:
Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
Psalm 126:6
No matter how great our suffering is, well, we will soon be screaming with such joy, reaping our hard work. Well, if you did not know, the Lord will one day reward our work. Praise God for this.
Finally, did you know that those who weep are blessed? The Bible says:
Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.
Luke 6:21
Remember this: God is looking at each one of your tears.
