Fixing our eyes on Jesus

Today, it is unfortunate that the testimony of the church has been tarnished by non-Christians who are there, and is for this that there are many non-converts who say: “To be like so-and-so I prefer to continue where I am.” Dear reader, if you are one of those who think so, then I invite you to put your gaze on Jesus and I assure you that you will not see in Him the same thing that you see in others.

John MacArthur said:

“The Church is not perfect, never has been. Some people use this as an excuse to stay away from the Church, saying, ‘I would like to attend a church, but there are many hypocrites there.’ I say to them: ‘Come, we have room for one more.”

Yes dear friend, in the church there will always be a space for everyone that our Lord Jesus Christ brings. The church can have its defects, religion can have its defects, the pastor can have its defects, the little brother who lives next to your house also has its defects, but there is not a single defect in Jesus, He and only He is the seal of divine perfection, there is not a single defect in Him, so if you can not trust religion, I invite you to put your eyes on Christ, and I assure you that you will realize of all the beauty that is in Him.

The writer of the Hebrews said:

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2

Let’s put our eyes on Jesus, He is and will be the greatest example we have ever had in this life. Still suffering all the vicissitudes he had, being betrayed, crucified and totally humiliated, he loved us with a love that surpassed all our offenses.

From this moment we challenge you to put your eyes on Christ, if you have felt bad for all the things that are seen in the day to day among false brothers, we tell you that in Christ everything is different.
