When you are having a hard time

There are times when discouragement comes to our spirit and we feel that God is not with us, however it is not so, we must trust every day that He is around us, and that He will take care of us and will protect us in any situation. As He says in His word in the book of psalms:

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 23: 1-4

When difficulties come to your life always think of Him who chose you and told you to come with all your burdens and He will make you rest. If He called you, He will strengthen you and take care of you in whatever situation you find yourself in.

We can also see a biblical quote that Jesus said when he was leaving this earth.

 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 14:16

Here we can see how Jesus says that He is going away but that He will pray to the Father to send the Comforter so that He will always be with us. It is good that we have pending that the Holy Spirit will be with us at all times, in anguish, in hunger, in pestilence, in nakedness, and in weakness.

And it is good that when we are going through this type of process we do not lose heart because the Holy Spirit will be with us always because he will always comfort our spirit, and because he will be with us until the end of the world.

The following biblical will help us to reflect every day on everything that happen to us in our daily lives, and that we keep in mind that Jesus is our Good Shepherd, and that he will continue to be our Good Shepherd.

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Psalm 5:11
