There are two factors that go hand in hand in a Christian’s life and they are “patience” and “prayer.” Without a doubt, Jesus urged his disciples to live a life of prayer, why? The answer is simple: “That they may not fall into temptation” (Matthew 26:41). It is very true that when we neglect prayer, we tend to fall very quickly into things that God does not like, however, when we maintain a life of prayer, we remind ourselves that we have to put everything in the hands of God.
The Bible says in the Book of James 5:
7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waitingfor the autumn and spring rains.
8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
