The Bible tells us about different types of wisdom, however there is one that is the one that must always dwell among us as believers: “The wisdom that descends from above”. We can achieve this wisdom through the Word of God and it is sure that it will be useful in our daily life.
Let’s read James chapter 3:13-18:
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
There are believers who think they have the wisdom from above, however, by their fruits they show no such thing, since although they seem to be very intelligent and know a lot about the Scriptures, they do not show a peaceful life, gentle, friendly, full of mercy and of good fruits. The Christian life consists of many elements, of many challenges, of many things to do, of being different from the world. Are you willing to do all this? Dear brother, this is a high price that we must pay.
Let’s live in peace with each other, we must think well the words that come out of our mouths, our attitude toward others, the treatment we give to others.
The apostle James tells us that when we show certain negative things in front of others, we do not possess the wisdom that descends from above, rather, we possess an earthly wisdom.
Let us seek this wisdom from above through the word of God, for our purpose is to be better Christians every day.

Thank you for the encouraging fact about wisdom we Christians sometimes we tend to think we know it all yet we don’t know but through this artical we learn to be kind and to be patient with others as Christians.
Wisdom that descends from above

The Lord Jesus Christ, speaking about false, hypocrite people, said in a metaphor of the fruits of a tree:
“Why by their fruits you shall know them.”
(Matthew 7:20)
By the words of men or women, you can find out what is in their hearts. It is not useful to be a deceitful person, given that they shall give account of each idle word in the day of judgment.
A good conversation, fruit of a repented heart, is acceptable to God. Out of a fool’s mouth come idle words, that will be reprimanded by the Lord in the day of judgment.
By contrast, wisdom that descends from above is acknowledged by wise people, in whom the Spirit of God abides, as in His temple. So the apostle James writes in his epistle:
“Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.”
(James 3:13)
A good conversation is fruit of a renewed mind, with meekness and works that seek God’s glory and our brothers’ spiritual edification.
Let God’s power and fear, as well as our love to people, lead us to be single-hearted men and women, with that good conversation which descends from Heaven

To obtain wisdom from above we as Christians have to be patient,kind to eachother and always read the word of God.
