In the same way that everything that surrounds us is real, nature, the sun that illuminates us, air, water, so real and firm is God’s response to us.
Why doubt our God if everything that is around us was created by Him? Everything, the sun, the moon, the stars, each of these things is amazing. It is magnificent to see the creation of a great and powerful being, we must faithfully trust each one of the things that He tells us.
That is why Psalm 5 tells us how confident the psalmist was that God’s answer would come into his life, so much so that he said he was going to wait for His answer:
1 Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.
2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Psalm 5:1-3 (KJV)
This was one of the supplications that David made to the Lord, the stories of this man of God are wonderful, because from him we can learn of the patience with which he could wait for God’s answer for his life. The way this man could use to go before God in prayer, humbled by asking for forgiveness, no matter the time, whether it was morning, afternoon or night, he just hoped that answer would come. So, believe it and it will be.
