The writings in the book of Psalms are amazing, for they emphasize the wonders of our God, and that we should praise and honor Him for His greatness.
When we read these psalms written by David and other writers, we see how they spoke about the Lord, His exploits and all the things He could do on the battlefields, as well as His beautiful creation, all so that we can be good managers of each of them.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
Psalm 68:4-5 (KJV)
Why not give praises and songs to our God, a holy, wonderful and gracious God? We must be grateful, do as this psalm tells us, sing to the Lord with all our heart, exalt His name above all, because He is the God who covers the orphan and helps the widow.
There is no one who compares to our mighty God, only to Him we must give praise, surrender before Him with songs of gratitude. God is our mighty King who helps us every day.
Let us honor His name in everything we do for His glory, because our blessings come from Him and His grace always covers us day after day, forever and ever, Amen.
