We must be faithful before the Lord, waiting on His purposes, let’s not forget that the Lord’s purposes are perfect, they don’t fail. So let us hope faithfully in the Lord.
The same Bible shows us every day, that the purposes of the Lord are good and perfect, many of those from ancient times, could receive from the Lord according to the purpose of God, they saw the powerful hand of God work in their lives, they saw the purpose of God fulfilled in them, they were filled with joy and they always knew how to wait.
In verse 9 of the first chapter of the second letter to Timothy, the author shows us that He made a holy call to us:
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
2 Timothy 1:9 (KJV)
We were called according to the purpose of our Lord, and His purposes are perfect, let us remember that it is not according to our works, rather according to the purpose of God who makes us deservers, by His great love and mercy.
That grace that abounds in our lives today comes only from Him, since His love and His grace sustain us and cover us. We must always be grateful to our Creator, for His great goodness, and because His purposes never fail, they are perfect.
Let us be diligent, appreciate the purpose of God that is in us, be grateful, and always praise our God for His great love that passes all understanding.
