How much time do we have listening to the phrase: “Christ is coming soon”? The truth is that we have a whole life listening to that, and many ignorant people judge this phrase that is housed in the Bible because of the fact that Christ has not yet come. Remember that God’s time is not the same as ours, His mind is not the same, the time factor does not work with God as it works with us and we must only adhere to that promise that Christ is coming soon, and through of this article we invite you to keep your faith in those words as alive as the first day you believed it.
The Bible says:
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:12-14
Our first verse to consider directly says: “Behold, I come quickly”. Can you believe that? Christ really comes soon and it is worth believing and waiting for Him, since it is a waiting with promise, He comes to reward us according to our works and if we are hidden in Him, we do not have to fear anything, we should not be surprised by His coming, because we are waiting for it and we wait for those words every moment of our lives.
After this great verse, Christ makes His church understand that He is eternal, that He has no beginning or end, He is God and lives and reigns forever.
Finally, dear brothers, in the last verse He tells us that those who wash their clothes to have the right of the tree of life are blessed. Our job is to believe in God, to wash our clothes every day, to continue believing, and that makes us the most blessed people in the world.
