The Lord will never turn away from the righteous, because God has mercy on them, will always be attentive and will fight for them, will not let them fall, but will give them new strength so that they can move forward.
We must always be confident in God that He will help us at all times, but remember that God sometimes allows trials to come to our lives, so that we understand that He is God.
Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken.
Psalm 55:22
When we begin to read chapter 55 of the book of psalms, we will find there with countless requests made by the psalmist David asking God to help him and free him from his enemies.
Every day David’s opponents who wanted to destroy him multiplied, and it is for this reason that David asks the Lord for his protection so that God will cover him every day. This great man of God always cried out to God in his moments of affliction so that the Lord would strengthen his life.
What happens when we place our burdens or problems in the hands of God? God takes care of everything we need and helps us both materially and spiritually, because God has promised not to let the righteous fall.
But you, God, will bring down the wicked
into the pit of decay;
the bloodthirsty and deceitful
will not live out half their days.
But as for me, I trust in you.
Psalm 55:23
God will take care of all those who want to harm the righteous, because He knows everything about us and knows our intentions. God is our creator, so let’s trust in God. We must place our burdens on Him.
