It is good that we have something pending, and is that around us we have countless people whose pleasure is to speak lies and deceive everyone who crosses their path, regardless of the consequences.
It is important to see the expression of the writer of this psalm, expressing that he cried out to the Lord and He answered him. When we humble ourselves before the Lord and ask Him to take care of all our adversaries, He does it.
I call on the Lord in my distress,
and he answers me.
Psalm 120:1
When we humble ourselves before God and cry out to Him, He will not reject us, but will do as He says in His Word, that everyone who asks will receive, everyone who seeks will find, and whoever calls will be answered. God will never ignore the call of the afflicted of heart.
Save me, Lord,
from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues.
Psalm 120:2
God frees us from all the people who lie and seek the way to bring down all who walk in integrity before God, but the Lord gives us the understanding every day so that we do not fall into this network of people whose mind goes continuously evil.
These people who only think about doing wrong to all those who do good will have their rewards, for their evil. God looks at his thought, everything that the ungodly man is practicing.
What will he do to you,
and what more besides,
you deceitful tongue?
Psalm 120:3
The deceitful language provokes divisions, causes disputes provoking death to all those people who are deceived by the lying tongue, for that reason we must be careful not to be deceived by this type of people.
