This is the promise that the Lord made to the people of Israel, giving them to understand would help them and sustain them of everything they needed, the people Israel had moments where other peoples came to attack the people of God.
But despite everything that happened with the people, God never left them. Israel had moments when they ignored His voice, but when the mighty hand of God came, then the people humbled themselves before God, but God in His infinite mercy forgave them.
All who rage against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish.
