Living by faith

The Bible tells us a lot about faith, since this must be an essential factor in every Christian, since without faith it is impossible to please God. In the Word of God we find many people who lived by faith, but we found others that their faith was exaggerated, because they believed entirely in God before any circumstance of life and God invites us to have that faith.

We need great faith to stand firm against the storms of this world. The Bible tells us about a man named Paul, who was an apostle of Jesus Christ, who suffered hundreds of sufferings because of the grace that was given to him in Christ Jesus. We ask ourselves: Why the sufferings? We must know that what we preach is an invaluable treasure, which is priceless, since it is the greatest treasure we have in our hands, but, glory can blind us and we try to glory ourselves when the glory belongs only to God, and that is why Paul writes to the corinthians:

7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;

9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10

Hebrews 11 is a great chapter for us to understand what faith really is. An important person that we can not fail to mention is Abraham, we even call him the father of faith. If we have read his story we will realize that God spoke to him and he went to a land that he did not even know, only trusting that the one who spoke to him was faithful to fulfill his promise.

We go through different trials all the time, but still with a great breath of life, in many troubles, but not desperated, and this because we have a great and indescribable trust in Christ Jesus our beloved Redeemer.

Remember this: “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” We must have our trust fully in our Creator.
