How good when we walk as light in the midst of darkness, that is, enlightening those who are in darkness, people whose lives are on a tightrope.
We as children of the Almighty must set an example in every place, wherever we find ourselves the Lord will be our good shepherd and He will continue to enlighten us with His light.
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
Ephesians 5:1
Here He is clearly urging us to be imitators of our heavenly father as beloved children that we are, in the same way that Jesus walked on this earth setting an example, He being the God and Creator of all things.
We as believers must keep in mind that we have many people around us who always live with the accusing finger and that is why we must always be firm in the Lord.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Ephesians 5:2
The truth is that many of the people around us expect us to step on the wrong foot to begin to stand trial against us, but we who have the love of Christ must move forward no matter what comes.
We have a God who is love, remember that the Lord is powerful and majestic. Let’s not look at those who point us, because someday they will reconsider, and they will understand that only God’s love covers a multitude of sins.
Now, we who are in the ways of the Lord, set an example to others, so that they may enter the path of salvation, because if we give an example of the light that is Christ, then they will say “God is real”. You will ask “why would they say this?” Well, because they saw that there is a people that wherever they go represents Christ as their Lord.
